Role: SAP ABAP Developer

The ABAP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ABAP software applications and interfaces, as well as documenting the software lifecycle. This role requires effective communication, collaboration with cross functional teams (functional consultant, product owner, supporters) and strong problem-solving skills.

Context: (Environment of operations) E.g.: The candidate would have to work with ambiguity. The domain understanding needs to address the complexity of the industry. Impact of the role to achieve business objectives.

 

Knowledge/Skills Required:

Must Have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP along with SAP Business Workflow
  • Good knowledge of RICEF objects with BAdI, BAPI
  • Should be good at OOABAP concepts and development concepts/ designs.
  • Ability to work independently, having good team spirit, communication, interpersonal skills with readiness to accept challenges.

Nice to Have:

  • Working experience on Eclipse ADT, ABAP New Syntax
  • Exposure to CDS views, OData, RAP basics, BOPF.
  • Knowledge of concepts for performance improvement and performance-oriented development in ABAP objects, Design Concepts.
  • Writing testable code with ABAP Unit tests
