Introduction for position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management processes, SAP EWM configuration, and project leadership. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing EWM solutions for our clients, ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations.

Your tasks

Key Responsibilities:
  • EWM Configuration and Customization:
  • Design, configure, and customize SAP EWM solutions based on client requirements.
  • Develop and implement best practices for warehouse management processes using SAP EWM.
  • Business Process Analysis:
  • Analyze and understand client business processes and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the warehouse management scope.
  • Solution Design and Implementation:
  • Create detailed functional and technical specifications for EWM solutions.
  • Implement EWM modules, including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, inventory management, and physical inventory.

  • Testing and Validation:
  • Develop test plans and conduct system testing to ensure quality and accuracy of EWM solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and post-implementation phases.
  • Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to end-users and client teams on EWM functionalities and best practices.
  • Create user manuals, training materials, and documentation.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, addressing their EWM-related needs and concerns.

Your profile

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing EWM projects.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and best practices. 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP EWM configuration and customization.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP).
  • Knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging is a plus.

Your Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

 Certifications:
  • SAP EWM certification is must.
  • SAP TM (optional)
